Crit registration will be open on day of race, race second crit for half price.

Unlicensed riders must purchase a one day licence at $10.00 per day and will be placed in Category 4/5

To be eligible for omnium points you must start in all (3)events.

If you are an unlicensed rider there will be an additional $10.00 USCF one day license fee Per Day of Racing. (including “Handcycle Category”)

Race a second crit for half price! Register online or day of race.

Each rider will be required to complete and sign a:“STANDARD

ATHLETES ENTRY RELEASE FORM” Before being allowed to Race.

Friday Night Packet Pick Up: (Race Number and Entry Release Form)

Will be held at Best Western, 2406 N Roan Street, Johnson City, Tennessee, 37601-1704, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.

Saturday Packet Pick Up: Race packet pick up from 8:00 to 8:45 AM Saturday morning at the registration area. packet pickup will close at 8:45 AM. No day of registration. No exceptions and no refunds

Directions to Saturday Packet Pick Up: In the Johnson City, TN area take Exit 31 off US I 26 onto highway 321/67. Follow HWY 321 to Elizabethton, TN. At .8 miles from Exit 31, HWY 321 becomes East Elk Ave. and HWY 67 splits to the left. Follow 67 until it intersects with HWY 19E. Turn right onto 19E, then turn right at the next light, go around the Monument onto South Main and then left on 6th Street. Registration is at the shelter. Please park in this lot. Questions? Sunday Packet Pickup: Pickup will be near start-finish line, State Street, Bristol Va. you may get your packet until 30 minutes before start of each race. Parking for the Crit will be at the WCYB TV 5 parking lot, Awards and Results will be posted at Java J’s.

ROAN GROAN, June 7, Start 9:00 AM

The Roan Groan is a mountain race starting in Elizabethton TN. The Pro 1,2,3 and Masters 30+, 40+ course will have an added loop of 25 miles for a total of 55 miles finishing at Carvers Gap on Roan Mountain (5512’). All other categories will ride the traditional 30 mile course to Carvers Gap. Be prepared to do a lot of climbing. 8 mile finishing climb at an average of 7%. Awards and results for those only doing the road race will be available at the parking lot in Elizabethton where packet pick up is held before the start of the race. Porta Potties will be provided. ANYONE CAUGHT URINATING IN PUBLIC WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM RACING!!!! IF THE POLICE SEE YOU, YOU ARE IN MORE TROUBLE THAN THAT.

Johnson City Chamber of Commerce TT, June 7, Start 5:00 PM

The TT is a 1.7 mile course, sponsored by Borla Exhaust and held at the Borla Complex near Johnson City, TN. First rider off at 5:00 PM at 60 second intervals. TT start times will be available online Thursday 6/5/08, results from the road race, and TT only awards will be availble at the TT venue.

Settlers Life Bristol Criterium, June 8, Start 8:30 AM

The Criterium is held in historic down town Bristol, Tennessee. The course is a fast flat course with two tight corners and a wide open finish. Supporting the Bristol D.A.R.E Program for a 5th year

THE RACES:

OMNIUM

To be eligible for omnium points you must start all (3)events. Points are awarded as follows.

USCF Rule

4C4. Individual Points Classification.

(a) Placings in the points classification shall be determined by adding the points awarded at each stage. If the race regulations do not specify a different scale of points, the following shall apply to the 1st to 15th places respectively in all except time trial stages: 25, 20, 16, 14, 12, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 point. In time trial stages, the following points scale shall apply to the 1st to 10th places respectively: 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 point.

All races will begin rain or shine,*USCF rules to govern all races,*Riders must wear ANSI approved helmets. Centerline rule will be strictly enforced. Organizer reserves right to combine fields, fields with fewer than four riders may be combined or canceled. Protest period will be 15 minutes after results are posted on Saturday and 15 Minutes after results are posted on Sunday.

Awards and results for those only doing the road race will be available at the parking lot in Elizabethton where packed pick up is held before the start of the race.

Results from the road race, and TT only awards, will be available at the TT venue and there after at the Best Western in Johnson City.

Awards for the Criterium and the Overall prize will be given after the Criterium in Bristol at the venue.
